The power of emotional branding. Coke symbolizes the ultimate americanism for most consumers and what better way to tap into them than thru such clever ads....

I personally neither drink coke or pepsi but follow their ads quite closely :-)

Krish

same feelings dude, i use it only while mixing :)

Arun,

I generally like their ads, but this one, with even our silver medalist in it, i am not able to take it.

I understand that when some people drink coke they feel that they are cool, jazzy et al, but feeling proud, i dont think so.

Yeah, I don't understand that. It is actually harmful. I has tons of sugar ( over 30 grams which is around 6 tspns) + caffeine + a lot of fillers.!!

Actually people don't think that when they have a "carbonated" drink, they are consuming the CO2 in that drink which is the wrong gas going in the wrong direction by that act of consumption :-)

Reminded me of the Harvert Bread advert that I get to see at the end of Delhi-Times almost everyday. See this. Bakwaas advertisement, lekin first class bread. Ok I've done enough of Bakwaas, enough now! :)
